ボディ（表板・裏板・側板）は、現在ベルリンを拠点に活動する若手製作家 Finn Trucco 氏が担当し、スクロール製作、ニス塗り、セットアップ、最終仕上げは Gideon Baumblatt 氏によって行われています。アトリエ作品ならではの分業体制により、それぞれの製作家が最も得意とする工程を担当することで、高い完成度と安定した品質を実現した一本です。
美しいアンティーク仕上げのニスと、力強く整ったアウトラインが印象的な一本です。裏板には鮮やかなフレイムメイプルを使用し、光の当たり方によって豊かな表情を見せます。スクロールやエッジワークにはGruszow & Baumblattらしい洗練された仕上げが施されており、細部に至るまで高い完成度を感じさせます。音色はレスポンスが非常に良く、明瞭で芯のある響きが特徴です。発音の速さと十分な音量を兼ね備えながらも、繊細なニュアンスにも素直に応えてくれるため、ソロ、室内楽、オーケストラなど幅広い演奏シーンで活躍できるポテンシャルを備えています。
This violin was crafted in the workshop of Gruszow & Baumblatt, one of the leading contemporary violin-making ateliers located near Berlin, Germany.
The body—including the top, back, and ribs—was made by the young violin maker Finn Trucco, who is now based in Berlin. The scroll, varnishing, setup, and final finishing were completed by Gideon Baumblatt. This collaborative approach, characteristic of a professional atelier, allows each maker to contribute their particular expertise, resulting in an instrument of exceptional craftsmanship and consistently high quality.
Finished in a beautiful antiqued varnish, the violin is distinguished by its elegant outline and refined workmanship. The back is made from beautifully flamed maple, whose figure comes alive as it catches the light. The scroll, edgework, and final details display the precision and sophistication for which the Gruszow & Baumblatt workshop is renowned.
Tonally, the instrument offers a quick, responsive attack with a clear, focused sound. It combines excellent projection with remarkable sensitivity, responding effortlessly to subtle nuances of the player's technique. Its versatility makes it equally at home in solo performance, chamber music, and orchestral settings.
