Pietro Guarneri of Mantua Model — Special Fleur-de-Lis Decoration

An exceptional violin created by Scrollavezza & Zanrè of Parma, specially commissioned for Sirena Fine Violins.

Made in 2026, this instrument draws inspiration from the work of Pietro Guarneri of Mantua, one of the distinguished members of the celebrated Guarneri family.

For this particular violin, the makers have incorporated distinctive fleur-de-lis decorations, inspired by the ornamentation found on certain historical instruments by Pietro Guarneri.

The result is a contemporary Italian violin that brings together classical craftsmanship, historical inspiration, and a distinctive artistic character.

The most distinctive feature of this violin is the series of fleur-de-lis motifs adorning both the front and back.

Positioned near the corners of the upper and lower bouts, these decorations complement the instrument's outline and purfling, lending it an elegant and highly individual appearance.

The one-piece maple back displays striking, diagonally flowing figure, enhanced by a transparent varnish ranging from golden amber to warm brown.

The spruce front, gracefully shaped f-holes, carefully defined corners, and refined edgework reflect the makers' attention to classical style and craftsmanship.

Before arriving in Japan, this particular violin was exhibited at the Scrollavezza & Zanrè booth during Cremona Musica 2026, one of the world's leading international exhibitions dedicated to musical instruments and violin making.

The instrument was presented by its makers and seen by numerous visitors during the event.
